Full service wedding design & planning! So what does that even mean? I’m here to give you the low down on our design service (and yes, it is something totally different than floral design). We are known for our flowers and nothing is changing over there, but in the past at our flower meetings, we noticed a little gap. That gap was overall design. Which very basically means the vision of your whole day. Here’s how we break it down-
Design & Planning:
A cohesive wedding day design is so much more than just floral design. Yes, flowers play a role but also all your paper goods (the very first element of your wedding that goes out into the world), your ceremony & reception venue and all the other visual elements that go into your venues. We like to say this is where your wedding ‘vibe’ happens. Whether you love a garden vibe (think lush green & romantic roses) or you love a more moody vibe (think lots of candles & deeper tones), together we figure out what that is for you and from there look for vendors, rentals, florals to fit your vibe.
Things we take care of:
- creating a mood board / visual proposal
- vendor selections
- floor plan
- tabletop elements
- detail items
- custom visual pieces
For this client we put together a visual proposal (one of the first steps) outlining the vibe of their wedding. From there we contacted vendors (such as these ghost chair rentals and the photographer to capture all the beauty). We decided we wanted all long, farm tables at the reception. Here’s where the flowers come in (based off the proposal, we designed all their floral pieces & other tabletop elements like the candles, bowls of fruit, cute little floral details). This also includes things like picking out your linen & napkin rentals.
We also contacted the stationary vendor to have her create these beautiful table numbers, name cards & invitations to fit the entire feel of the wedding. From there we added the holders (flower frog!) And made sure their signature cocktail not only tasted yummy, but followed along the entire color palate. PS- it was an apple cider champagne cocktail and the yummiest!
Details have always been our favorite and pulling in color with elements like candles just make it extra special! There is so much more that goes into all this, which we will gladly explain it all to you when you set up your initial meeting! Which you can do right here-
So what’s planning & design if it doesn’t all come together how we want it to?! All those months of getting the details ordered and paid for need to blend together on one day which can be stressful!! Don’t worry, we wouldn’t leave you hanging! We have our coordination & execution offering to make it all happen. We will explain more on this when we chat!
