When I met Ashley for the first time, she said she wanted her wedding to “scream spring”. As a florist, I love when my clients give me a general idea and then let me run with it! That’s just what we did for this romantic, outdoor wedding at a beautiful & historic park in St. Louis. The ceremony would take place out in the garden right in front of this huge tree. Since it was spring and all the flowers are growing at that time, we had to have flowers growing on the tree too! We didn’t want to over do it, just play up the natural elements that were already there. The same went for the reception space. We added lots of spring pinks and greens with flowing greenery. We brought some of the garden to the tented patio which added just the right amount of color and fun!
When Ashley came to us needing “something cute” for her escort card display, we got her all set up with these wooden trays lined with green moss. They paired just right with the garden feel of the whole day. Also, we tried to add as many pretty details as we could – so of course the new Mr. and Mrs. chairs got a little extra touch of pretty!
