EEEK!! Oh my goodness!! My very own career profile article is up on theeverygirl.com!! I’m so excited to share it with y’all!! Thanks so so so much to everyone at The Everygirl for wanting to share my story. My goal was to be really honest and real when answering the questions. I know my experiences will be totally different than many others, but hopefully I can inspire others to know they can go after the career that fills their heart with joy!
Little secret… my office (the room in all the photos) did not look like this when I bought accents. It had old carpet, brown panel walls and nothing was pink. I knew this room had to be my first project. I needed a place that was me so I could feel at home in this new chapter of my life. So, up came the carpet (along with layers of dirt and dust) and underneath was this gorgeous original hard wood flooring. Well…gorgeous after my dear mom worked her little booty off to restore it. (xoxo, mom) Then pretty pale pink paint and some gold dots went on the walls. Lots of items were painted (my desk, the filing cabinet and this little table above) because I wanted to use the items I already had there. They just needed some love and many layers of paint. It took about a month to complete and I really love the end result!
A big thanks to Meredith from L Photographie for taking all the lovely photos!
